Day Tour Arusha National Park

Arusha National Park may be small, but it has a lot to offer.

From walking safaris, Tanzania’s second-highest mountain, and beautiful lakes, the adventures available in Arusha National Park are numerous.

Begin the morning with a Walking Safari, accompanied by a park ranger.

Walking Safari: the walking safari can be 1-2.5 hours, depending on your preference.
Walk along the grasslands or the edge of the swampy areas to get close to families of giraffes, herds of elephants and see groups of buffaloes in the distance.

You may hike to Tululusia Waterfalls and enjoy your picnic lunch there, or return to the safari vehicle and have lunch overlooking the Momella Lakes.

Game Drive: After lunch, enjoy a game drive in the park. Keep a look out for:
– Black and White Colobus Monkeys
– Bushbucks, Zebras, Elands and other grazing animals
– Towers of giraffes
– Herds of Buffaloes around the swamp areas
– The park is also home to elusive leopards, although they are more difficult to spot.

Drive to Little Serengeti and Ngurdoto Crater for miniature versions of some of Tanzania’s most famous landmarks.

In the late afternoon, you will drive back to your Arusha-area accommodation (not included with this day-tour option), marking the end of this exciting day in Arusha National Park.
