Day Tour Arusha National Park
Arusha National Park is one of Tanzania’s smallest parks, making a day tour to this park a great, single-day safari experience. Despite its size, it offers a great safari experience, boasting a ‘taste of the northern circuit’ within the park boundaries. Experience ‘Little Serengeti’, flocks of flamingoes in the Momella Lakes, drive through Ngurdoto Crater (similar to Ngorongoro Crater), and Tanzania’s second-highest mountain, Mount Meru.

Day Tour Itinerary
After breakfast, depart to Arusha National Park, located only 40 km from the center of Arusha Town.
Start the day off with a walking safari to see giraffes, buffalo and zebras up close (all walking safaris are escorted by an armed ranger).
Enjoy lunch with a view of the Greater Momella Lake and watch ducks and flamingoes moving along the lake, or take a short hike to the base of Mount Meru and enjoy lunch at the nearby Tululusia waterfall. Continue the rest of the day with a game drive throughout the park; Little Serengeti and Ngurdoto Crater are popular locations to see herds of animals.
Depart Arusha National Park around 5 or 6 pm (park gate closes at 6 pm), and drive back to your accommodation. Dinner at your accommodation.
